The Parlor, The Dining Room, and the Porch
Osceola Mill was built in 1849 as a grist mill grinding wheat and cornmeal for the community. In 1969, Hurricane Camille caused the mill to shut down. In the early 1970's Dr. Richard Meeth converted it into his private residence for his family. He built a a parlor which still has the old millhouse grinding stone in the middle of it, a comfortable and charming dining room, and bedrooms on the second floor. We've upgraded and renovated it, but we try to keep the same spirit of this truly special place. In the 1990's it got converted into a lodge and restaurant. We have brought back Dr. Meeth's parlor and dining room for our guests to make their stay at Osceola Mill more comfortable and relaxing. In addition to these common areas for guests we have a list of site, room and other guest amenities here.
