Breakfast & Snacks - Just Like Grandma's House (but Without the Chores)
Breakfast & Snacks - Just Like Grandma’s House (but Without the Chores)
Breakfast is always on us between 8 to 10am! On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, we cook like Grandma’s un the kitchen- which means something sweet, something savory, and enough food to fill your belly and pack a little extra for later. On weekdays? We take it easy with continental breakfast baskets for each suite(because even we need a breather).
Eat in the dining room, take your plate to the porch, or curl up in the parlor- whenever you like, it’s your breakfast, your rules. Now, let’s talk about the goods:
- Bacon, bacon, bacon, sausage, and- did we mention bacon?
- Gertie’s homemade biscuits & sausage gravy, a Sunday tradition
- Our famous homemade cinnamon rolls- yeah, they live up to the hype
- Perfectly soft scrambled eggs, because there’s an art to it.
- Berries and seasonal fruit, because balance
- Loaded breakfast sliders- because who doesn’t love a handheld breakfast?
- And all the caffeine- coffee, espresso,tea-because mornings should never be under caffeinated.
- Afternoon snacks if you have the munchies - healthy and indulgent options available!
So come hungry, because we don’t believe in small portions, and we definitely don’t believe in leaving the breakfast table unsatisfied.

We've Got Wine, Beer, & Ciders
We keep a little stash of wine, beer, and ciders on hand—because what’s a getaway without a good drink in your hand? You’re welcome to sip in the parlor, on the porch, in your room, or out in the garden by the fire pit (sunset highly recommended).
Feeling social? Play a little cornhole. Feeling mellow? Just kick back and let Marl Creek do its thing. Want to turn it into dinner? We can even grab Gertie’s for you and set you up with an al fresco feast in the garden. You can pre-order when you book or you can just let us know the day before and we’ll get that prepped for you!
Our selection includes a few reds, whites, bubbles, ciders, and some seriously good brews from Random Row in Charlottesville. And if you bring back a bottle from one of the nearby wineries or breweries—cheers to that. We’ve got the glassware, the ice, and the vibe. You bring the stories.
