A Note on How We Operate — Effective June 2026
Starting June 2026, Osceola Mill is transitioning to exclusively whole-property rentals. We will no longer offer breakfast, guests will be allowed to bring their own food and use our kitchen and facilities. All previously confirmed reservations will be honored in full, and we're so grateful for every guest who has been part of our story so far.
Going forward, the Mill House is available only as a complete whole-home rental — all four suites together — rather than individual room bookings. This change allows us to offer every group the privacy, space, and experience that a property like this truly deserves. Osceola Mill has always been a place for gathering, and we believe the whole-home experience is the best way to share it.
Also on the property is the McCormick Cabin — a detached, private creekside retreat with its own king bed, soaking tub, fireplace, and outdoor fire pit. The cabin is available to rent separately, or it can be combined with the Mill House for groups who want exclusive use of the entire Osceola Mill estate. Booking both together comes with a discount, making it an exceptional value for larger groups, family reunions, wedding parties, or anyone who wants the full run of one of Virginia's most storied historic properties — every suite, the cabin, the kitchen, the grounds, and the banks of Marl Creek, all to yourselves.
We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to welcome you — all of you — to the Mill.
Breakfast & Snacks - Just Like Grandma's (Only You Don't Have to Do the Dishes)
Breakfast is on us, every weekend morning from Friday to Sunday at 8-10am. It's a cozy homecooked meal, and you can enjoy it wherever you feel most at home-dining room table, porch swing, or curled up in the parlor. Your breakfast, your rules..
Here's what you'll find:
- Fresh pastries, breads, cereal, yogurt, and all the good spreads
- Berries and seasonal fruit, because balance
- Enough coffee, espresso, and tea to get you caffeinated for a hike, road trip, or deep porch-sitting
- And yes, afternoon snacks too (both "I eat clean" and "I deserve this" approved)
No frills, no fuss-just simple, comforting bites to keep you going.
For our WEEKDAY guests we will not be providing a breakfast service. We do have a cereal bar, milk, and fruit that's complimentary for our guests on the weekdays if they want to have a lite breakfast.
